Me :-> BTW, if anyone who is attending the con can spare some time to volunteer, we'd very much appreciate it!

Me, but I have to fly home a day earlier than planned because of work. However, having work does mean I can attend the con without eating ramen.

Maybe. Had to go away for work any way, so cheap trip, but may need to cancel at last minute depending how M is :(

We're theoretically leaving Friday... although at this rate, I suspect it will be Saturday morning! We'll be around Melbourne and the Mornington peninsula for the week each side of the con, and obviously at the con:-)

Just starting to panic about how to occupy the not quite 2 year old on the drive... he doesn't tend to listen to audio books quite like the other two, and colouring-in doesn't hold his attention the same way, either!

possibilities: one biscuit tin of solid state figurines (this I can lend you), endless supply of nibblies that require dexterity and time to eat (eg. fruit loops, currants, in tsp quantities in a bowl), small rattling object (I think that B had two or three little noise makers), puppet(s) that adult in front/beside can use to make commentary on the road, favourite cds/songs to sing. I think we had a biscuit tin of finger puppets as well, which I would be willing to lend.
