What did you think of Saw VI? I found it an odd mixture of disappointing by-the-numbers bits and some really cool interesting bits.

Oooh, Angels with Dirty Faces! That's one of my favourites. But not that many people seem to watch movies that old anymore. They don't know what they're missing out on...

Heh. A couple of years ago, some friends sat me down in front of His Girl Friday. I was a total convert to old movies. :)

I find I have to be in a specific mood nowadays to watch a movie earlier than about 1970 or so. The shift in narrative pace is something I don't slip back into easily.
