Got and email today and Sian thinks the sperm donor article with Sharon and I is in this weekend's Australian. No idea if it's Sat or Sun.

There's a Starman, waiting in the sky....

THis has nothing to do with your posting but I'd thought you'd be interested in a Superhero who's a bigger bastard than Captain Marvel aka the Caped Madman.

From the Prelinger Archive I downloaded the Starman adventure "Attack from Space". Starman was a manga hero who was adapted into movie serial adventures in the early 60's, which were in turn cut into features and badly dubbed for the American market. Hailing from the Emerald Planet, he'd fly through space (no spaceship, he did it the George Reeves way)and clobber assorted alien nasties hassling Earth. What puts him into the total bastard league is that he'd grab the aliens guns and shoot the crap out of them, and have a good laugh while he did it. His final attack on the aliens space station would not have been out of place in "Kill Bill", though no fake blood of course.

this is the URL if anyones interested

Got it. Wow, what a FEATURE! And the photos are fine :)

I still can't get over how much info they've given about you - it'd be easy for someone to match you to their donor profile if they saw the article, and not that hard to track you down I would think.

Given the sort of weird laws that may be made in the future I just hope you don't wind up paying some sort of genetic maintenence to your donor kids (donor kidbabs?) but on the positive side you may get more presents at Christmas.

The law is very clear on not having any financial responsibility when being a sperm donor, and it's not the kind of thing they can just change on a whim.

It's bloody huge, isn't it?

I *think* all my semen has been snaffled, so only the people who have already chosen it would be doing any matching.

As to being tracked down, they'd only be able to track me back to LJ, which is fine. Personally, I have no issues being tracked down well before any nippers are 18.
