Anyway, below the cut is a bunch of piccies taken from one of the student films I've done over the last couple of few weeks. They'll all be done as thumbnail links to Imageshack. Got some catching up to do on these, I've done two since this one! No details as to the plot, you can find that out during the Danny Oz film festival...
The lighthouse at Point Lonsdale, about two and a half hours from home. Shooting was at 9 so I got up and left by 6:15 to get there on time. Listened to lots of music :)
The view from the pier.
The slate from my first student flick. Okay, okay, but it's a big deal to me.
Shooting away, with a real fisherman on the right.
Laurent Boulanger (The Hitman), Andrew* (Fisherman #3), and Nigel Johnston (Brandon). Laurent is loud, outrageous and French. Andrew and Nigel, as you can tell from the picture, aren't.

Tristan Jones (art dept/technical assistant), Thomas Kinsman (the director) behind the camera, Lucas Testro (camera man), yours truly as Fisherman #1, Andrew as Fisherman #3 and John Kinsman, the director's father, as Fisherman #2. John was a big film buff and became known as 'Papa Smurf' because of his outfit.
"Don't call me Papa Smurf!" says a bloody John. Tristan and Bill Irving* in the background, and Andrew again. Turned out that John used to be an architect. And that he designed this building -
This is none other than the Meteorological Station in my favourite place in the whole wide world - Eucla! Yay! Small world... Round too... I suppose this is a good time to ask if people wanted me to continue posting up my travel pics - they're a bit old but if there's interest I'll post them up.
*Bill wrote the excellent script Rob that I auditioned for. I didn't get the part because I was too beautiful, however he's made it up to me by asking if I'd help out on the 3D animation at the start.
