|Falling in hate again...

Just been catching up on some Smallville season 6. I like the show. Not enough to own it, but enough to want to see it through to the end. But you know, I still suffer Tourrets Syndrome every time Lana Lang opens her damned whiny mouth... or looks at the camera with her big, watery eyes... or breaths...
Actually, come to think of it, she's a big part of the reason why I would never own the series. Her negative impact on my enjoyment of it is just too great.
I know it's not part of the Superman mythos, but can't we just ice the miserable bitch?
LOL, for a second there I thought I was reading a post by my other lj friend benchilada
. He's a comicbook/TV nerd who actually does have Tourettes. ;)
Man, did I bugger up the spelling of Tourettes or what?!
Does he hate Lana Lang? I've decided I will only respect those that hate Lana Lang.
I want to play sharp stabby games with her.
I shall ask him immediately.
Lana also never fell in love with Lex and Clark's parent's were about 144 years old, so fuck the mythos. I mean, the show already has, so it'll be loose enough.
Nah, really, I respect that the show isn't just rehashing old comics.
I mean, they've really taken Lana and turned her from a kinda-dumb old love interest into a strong woman whose attitude can really affect...GOD DAMN IT, I TRIED SO HARD!
She's horrible. For a supposedly "strong female character," she sure is a whiny, weak, kinda-dumb person. Why Clark wasn't banging the shit out of Chloe will forever be a point of confusion for me.
Let's weigh the facts:
Lana: Hot, but in a creepy sorority girl fashion
Chloe: Hot, and a geek.
Why is this even something we need to talk about?
I love it when a plan comes together. :D
I have to say that I don't know what the boys all see in her.
She spends so much time trying to be strong, but she's so weak it sickens me. She's never happy, she's pushy, and the few times she's actually meant to be showing some backbone, the actress plays her not as strong, but as petulant and bitchy.
I don't like Lois much either, but I don't swear whenever she's onscreen.
Alison Mack however... *swoons*
Oh yes. A couple of seasons ago when the opening sequence had her doing that sad/wistful/knowing smile. Caught heartstrings.
Oh God yes! I haven't fallen for Alison Mack, but she's so gorgeous I just want to snuggle with her for hours.
It's funny, they've made Chloe such a good match for Clark, and then they have him falling for Lana and Lois. It's almost like real life!
