So to see us be at-
Bourke St Mall Pancake Parlour
Sunday 12th August, 6pm - 9pm
We will be tired, but happy to see you all.
We were originally going to be attending the MSFC Friday night, but they've moved things in an effort lose us. They are going to a fantastic sounding Stop Motion Animation Exhibition this Friday.
10 August – INCINEMOTION A STOP MOTION ANIMATION EXHIBITION At the Incinerator Arts complex, 180 Holmes Road, Moonee Ponds Melways Ref: 28 D7
Incinemotion is an exhibition that explores the fascinating world of Stop Animation. A world of distorted realities and creative ingenuity - Incinemotion will give you a rare insight into the world of stop animation artists, their characters, models, sets and designs before and after they are animated.
The MSFC has booked the venue on the very last night before the Incinemotion exhibits are dismantled. They can’t come to us – we have to go to them! Jo Williams, Curator, will talk to us about stop-motion animation. More than half an hour’s worth of short films have been selected for us. Gold coin donation.
Arrive at the Incinerator Arts complex at 8.45pm for a 9.00pm start.
Notices will be on the St David’s Uniting Church door with directions to Incinerator Arts. Car pooling will happen at 8.40pm at St David’s for those who need a lift. The Incinerator Arts complex is located in Aberfeldie Park, near The Boulevard on the banks of the Maribyrnong and 1.2km from Moonee Ponds Railway Station along Holmes Rd (the extension of Puckle St). Alternatively, take the #57 West Maribyrnong or #82 Footscray tram towards Highpoint and get off at stop 41, and walk north along the river bank.
Shaz and I aren't sure if we're going to make it or not, I'd like to but all these late nights are really starting to take their toll on "Brain-Damaged Cripple Old Man", so that's up in the air. But we will be at Pancake Parlour Sunday.
