So, who here is going to Aussiecon 4 (if you answered this question on Twitter, don't feel you need to answer again)?

In the Quality Batman's Hill on 1 September and then at the Hilton through to the end of the con.
Me :-> BTW, if anyone who is attending the con can spare some time to volunteer, we'd very much appreciate it!
Me, but I have to fly home a day earlier than planned because of work. However, having work does mean I can attend the con without eating ramen.
Maybe. Had to go away for work any way, so cheap trip, but may need to cancel at last minute depending how M is :(
Hope things improve, & not because of the con.
We're theoretically leaving Friday... although at this rate, I suspect it will be Saturday morning! We'll be around Melbourne and the Mornington peninsula for the week each side of the con, and obviously at the con:-)
Just starting to panic about how to occupy the not quite 2 year old on the drive... he doesn't tend to listen to audio books quite like the other two, and colouring-in doesn't hold his attention the same way, either!
possibilities: one biscuit tin of solid state figurines (this I can lend you), endless supply of nibblies that require dexterity and time to eat (eg. fruit loops, currants, in tsp quantities in a bowl), small rattling object (I think that B had two or three little noise makers), puppet(s) that adult in front/beside can use to make commentary on the road, favourite cds/songs to sing. I think we had a biscuit tin of finger puppets as well, which I would be willing to lend.
It's similar to a goiter.
Me! Me me me me me me me me!
sounds like we need a splinter-group in perth. maybe we could build a dalek or something.
A and I will be there, but will not be accompanied by any examples of Rattus Baggus.
Yeah, all of our household
Me and my housemate are going along. And then I'm going to ride my bicycle back from Melbourne :D
